Please find enclosed our latest construction notice regarding temporary overnight closures of the intersection of La Brea Avenue and Exposition Boulevard scheduled for Tuesday, May 4, 2010 through Friday, May 21, 2010.

What: Temporary overnight closures of La Brea Avenue

When: Tuesday, May 4, 2010 through Friday, May 21, 2010

Nighttime work hours: Monday through Friday, 9:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.

Where: Intersection of La Brea Avenue and Exposition Boulevard; approximately 100 feet south of the intersection with Jefferson Boulevard.

Traffic Impacts:

The following detours will be in effect and traffic will be directed to follow all appropriate detour signs -

Northbound traffic on La Brea Avenue will be detoured east at Rodeo Road

Southbound traffic on La Brea Avenue will be detoured west at Jefferson Boulevard.

Directional signage, electronic message boards and flaggers will be used to safely direct drivers around the construction zones in order to minimize the disruption to traffic.

Local access will be maintained for all residents.

Advisories:

Parking restrictions in all construction areas will be strictly enforced at all times. Please do not enter the construction work zone and obey all posted construction signs.

(Construction schedules are subject to change for various reasons including but not limited to: weather conditions, unforeseen emergencies and other acts of nature.)
