SNOOKS

Aug19Petweb2On the grounds of the William Andrew Clark Memorial Library, located at Adams Blvd and Cimmarron, between the bushes and the Adams Blvd wall, is this monument to the memory of the Clark’s beloved pet Snooky.

It reads:

IN MEMORY OF SNOOKS,

BOSTON TERRIER, FAITHFUL FRIEND TO HIS MASTER AND MISTRESS AND TO HIS PAL "TERTIUS." THIS TABLET MARKS THE SPOT OF HIS INTERMENT.

HE DIED IN MAY 1921 AT THE AGE OF FOURTEEN.
