Councilman Herb J. Wesson sponsored the creation of the photo art exhibit "Hail To the Chief", a series of pictures saluting President Barack Obama as the first African American President of the United States and his wife Michele Obama, the first African American First Lady.
Organized by Albert Lord and originally exhibited at City Hall along the walls of the Bridge, it has since moved to the The Nate Holden Performing Arts Center in partnership with The Ebony Showcase.
The exhibit features a series of photographs taken on Inauguration day, during President Obama's campaign visit to the 10th District at Rancho Cienega as well as an exposition of Air Force One and the US Marine Band.
From April 26 to May 29: Monday – Saturday, 10 am – 5 pm
